To promote inclusivity and diversity in the tech space, Somait has officially launched the Women in Tech Zanzibar Initiative. The program will provide scholarships, mentorship, and tailored training for young women who aspire to build careers in the ICT sector.
“Our goal is to create equal opportunities and ensure women are well represented in the digital transformation of our region,” shared the program coordinator.
The first batch of trainees will be selected this coming June.
